Before Sunset+Before Sunrise are, as a whole, my favorite movie of all time, and the "baby, you are going to miss that plane" line my absolute favorite moment.
Before Midnight is a lovely, extremely-well-done film that I do not wish to discuss or think about any further.
I agree with every point here and one day when I’m not trying to be a stupid responsible adult and can use money to do things like get tattoos again, I have big plans for a tattoo about “baby you are gonna miss that plane”
Before Midnight is an extremely well-made, well-acted, beautifully-shot movie that I do not accept as canon and no one will ever change my mind (it’s also a film-length version of a tweet from I think 2018 during the World Cup about “oh no it’s the oldest player in the league, the oldest any man has ever been, how can he even walk onto the field without crumbling into dust, a medical marvel, forty one years old” although I think the soccer player it was about was like 35 but my point still stands.)
I think the thing I appreciate most about your writing is the universality of these experiences and thoughts. I don't live in NYC, and I haven't seen either of the movies you write about (though I've always meant to watch Before Sunset/Sunrise)... and yet I can picture these scenes and locations and feelings and emotions like I am there.

Oh wow thank you! That’s exactly what I aim for so this means a lot.
